1. Information We Collect

GhostMoney is designed with privacy by default. We collect minimal information:

• Wallet addresses — public blockchain addresses you connect to the Platform
• Transaction signatures — public on-chain transaction hashes
• P2P trade data — for the marketplace: payment method configurations, dispute messages, uploaded payment proofs
• Analytics — anonymized page views and feature usage via Vercel Analytics (no personal data)
• Optional KYC — only if you upgrade to Verified tier: government ID, selfie (processed by third-party KYC provider)

2. What We Do NOT Collect

• Email addresses (unless you voluntarily provide for support)
• Passwords (we use wallet signatures only)
• Private keys or seed phrases
• Credit card or bank account numbers (fiat transfers happen between users, outside our systems)

3. How We Use Information

Information is used solely to:

• Provide and improve the Platform
• Match P2P buyers and sellers
• Resolve disputes via admin review of evidence
• Comply with legal obligations and AML requirements
• Detect and prevent fraud or abuse

4. Sharing With Third Parties

We share data with:

• Blockchain explorers — by nature, all on-chain transactions are public
• Service providers — Vercel (hosting), Helius (Solana RPC), KYC provider (if applicable)
• Law enforcement — when legally required (court orders, subpoenas)

We do NOT sell your data to advertisers or third parties.

5. Data Retention

• P2P trade records: retained for 7 years for AML compliance
• Payment proofs: retained for 5 years
• Chat messages: retained until the trade is closed + 1 year
• KYC data (if uploaded): retained for 5 years post-account closure

6. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

• Access your personal data
• Request correction or deletion (subject to legal retention requirements)
• Object to processing
• Data portability
• Withdraw consent

7. Cookies & Local Storage

We use browser local storage for:

• Language preference
• Wallet session (signed authentication, expires in 30 days)
• UI preferences

No third-party tracking cookies are used.

8. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including HTTPS, encrypted environment variables, and limited admin access. However, no system is 100% secure. You are responsible for protecting your wallet private keys.

9. International Transfers

Data is stored on Vercel servers (USA, Europe). By using the Platform you consent to international transfer of your data.

10. Children

The Platform is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

11. Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be announced with at least 7 days notice.
